Top Seven offensive NHL Lines

Name:  Mike S.

  1. Pittsburgh Penguins- Phil Kessel, Evgeni Malkin, Bryan Rust

The Pittsburgh Penguins were a back to back Stanley Cup winners. Phil Kessel is not the fastest player but he is the chubbiest. He is really good shooter from the hash marks. Evgeni Malkin is the strength of the line. He is a beast when it comes to last minute goals because he uses his size and speed to get around the defense. Bryan Rust is the dirty player on the line, he stands in front of the net for the juicy rebounds and just bangs the puck in the net.

  1. Las Vegas Golden Knights- Max Pacioretty, Paul Stastny, Alex Tuch

The Las Vegas Golden Knights are a really recent expansion team and when you are an expansion team you can pick 2 players from any team and when you do that you typically get really good players. The Las Vegas Golden Knights don’t really need an explanation all you need to know is that they are a very very good NHL team.

  1. Canadiens- Artturi Lehkonen, Max Domi, Andrew Shaw

The Canadians have the 5th best line in the NHL because they are rivals (so I don’t really like them) with the Boston Bruins but they are a good team with a decent line. Max Domi is a diabetic NHL player with means he has to work harder than anyone else because it is hard to deal with his disease. He is the only diabetic NHL player in the NHL so he really has to take care of himself. Andrew Shaw is the enforcer on that line so he protects his teammates. Artturi Lehkonen is in his 2nd year in the NHL, so he is still getting used to the high speed game but he can really skate.

  1. Tampa Bay Lighting- Yanni Gourde, Steven Stamkos, Nikita Kucherov

The Tampa Bay Lighting have the 4th best line in the NHL because they have the number player with points in the NHL and it is Nikita Kucherov. They also have Steven Stamkos, he is the second best one timer from the wall in the NHL. Steven Stamkos can have a hard one timer and also place the puck perfectly and not every NHL player can do that. Yanni Gourde is a very fast teammate that can pass and completes the strength and points line.

  1. Toronto Maple Leafs- Mitch Marner, Auston Matthews, Patrick Marleau

The Toronto Maple leafs have the 3 best line in the NHL because they are my 3 most favorite team in the NHL. Also Mitch Marner is one of the fastest players on the Maple Leafs. And Auston Matthews was the 3rd round pick in the 2015 NHL draft. Patrick Marleau is the old man on that line,he has been in the NHL for 32 years.

  1. Boston Bruins- Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron, David Pastrnak

The Boston Bruins have the second best first line in the NHL because they are my favorite team in the NHL, and because they have players that can play through pain, for example Patrice Bergeron played through broken ribs and torn rib cartilage.  Another reason why they are the best line is because in their 2011 Stanley Cup playoffs the Bruins were down by 3 goals and the line that scored the 3 goal in the remaining 1;30 were Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron, and Blake Wheeler. When you substitute Blake Wheeler for a 19 year old all-star to that line you are going to have a complete All-star line, that will score many many goals and lead you to many many victories

  1. Colorado Avalanche- Mikko Rantanen, Nathan MacKinnon, Gabriel Landeskog

The Colorado Avalanche has the number one line in my opinion in the NHL because Mikko Rantanen is the best player from the NHL because he has the most skillful hands in the NHL. Also Nathan MacKinnon is the best person you can have passing to you when you are in a small area. Gabriel Landeskog has the best shot from outside of the circle because in the all-star game he had 3 goals from outside the top of the circles and they were against the best goalies in the NHL.
