Antonio’s Pizza in Worcester

By Paul S.

Antonio’s Pizza, on 268 Chandler Street in Worcester Massachusetts is mostly known for having unbelievable pizza and different type of flavors that leaves a great taste in your mouth. For this review I will try two types of pizza. The first one is the white pizza and the 2nd is the buffalo chicken bacon and ranch.  When you walk over to the counter to see all the different flavors of pizza, and your mouth starts to water and you can smell the fragrance of pizza in the air. Your eyes immediately go towards the most colorful and delicious slices. The pizza itself is a pretty decent size and one piece is enough for a whole dinner. When your order your pizza you can get it heated up so when you eat it you can taste the warm bread and the melting cheese in your mouth. You of course can also get drinks but the most important thing is the pizza. Overall the restaurant is pretty big and clean. It is nicely set up to with TVs and decorations. You can also eat there, it has many seats and tables. Once your pizza comes out of the big metal oven, they slide your delicious looking slice into a small box so you can take it home without dropping it. The place also has a drive-through to make picking up pizza easier.

The white pizza has no sauce on it just cheese. It smells very delicious and the Mozzarella is the first thing to catch your eye, and the smell is mostly the mozzarella.  The dough looks just right. There is not too much dough which is a good thing. The crust is also a decent size and not too bready as well. The cheese covers the whole pizza with the mozzarella being big white spots on the pizza. It also has ricotta and parmesan cheese on it as well, and the oregano spice to top it of. When you are about to put it in your mouth, your mouth waters like you just jumped in the ocean. It has just the right amount of salt and when you taste it you can taste all the different types of cheeses. The crust is not to tough but it’s ok. Overall it was a very good slice of pizza.

The buffalo chicken bacon and ranch looks very tasty as well. The ranch is something that catches your eye, and the smell of the pizza is mostly ranch as well. The ranch is drizzled down the pizza in a zigzag pattern with the chicken and bacon spread all around the pizza. There is also a little cheddar cheese on the pizza but not covering the whole thing. When you smell it smells like bacon and ranch. Just like the other one the dough is not thick and the crust is a perfect size. When you try it you taste the ranch bacon and the chicken. This combo of flavors really adds to the pizza. The buffalo chicken is not really hot but it still tastes very good. It leaves very little feeling that it was hot in your mouth which I like. The bacon adds a little bit of a barbeque flavor and gives you more of a crunch when you bite on it. The buffalo chicken bacon and ranch was great and had a good amount of flavor.

Overall the buffalo chicken bacon ranch was my favorite. It had a ton of flavor but the bacon really sold it to me. The white pizza was good but it did not have as much flavor as the buffalo chicken, that’s why the buffalo would be my favorite.

  2. I really liked how I have a great visual understanding of both of the pizzas. Your metaphor of “When you are about to put it in your mouth, your mouth waters like you just jumped in the ocean” is very unique, yet it still puts a picture of my mind how tasty and appealing this pizza really is. I also enjoyed how you knew about the different ingredients. For example, the cheese was not simply cheese and you knew about that specific type of cheese and knew exactly that it was cheddar cheese. Now, I am really hungry for both of these pizzas at Antonio’s Pizza in Worcester.
